Niños de México is a non-profit mission organization directly supported by churches and individuals throughout the United States.


THE NEED

The Greater Mexico City Area is one of the largest urban areas in the world with nearly 30 million people. In this metro area, there are thousands of street children. 

...Some have been orphaned. 

   ...Others have been abandoned. 

      ...Still, others have been abused. 

         ...All of them need the love of Jesus!!


A FRUITFUL WORK

Since 1967, Niños de México has been giving LIFE to these children one child at time!! Many of these children have grown up to become doctors, ministers, teachers, and more, helping to spread the good news of Jesus Christ in Mexico! 


Today, we are actively involved in sharing Jesus with the children and people of Mexico through our eight children’s homes, medical outreach, and church plants.


OUR HOMES

Niños de México operates children’s homes in the Mexico City area and the city of Cholula, Puebla. Each home is designed to function as a family. With Christian house parents, their kids, and 11-15 children, Niños’ homes are truly loving and caring places for the children to grow and learn the love of Jesus!






WHAT WE BELIEVE

Essential truth. Our Statement of Faith. These things do not change at Niños de Mexico. This is what we believe, and it’s who we are at the core as a Christian mission.


  • We believe in one God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 5:16, 45; 6:1, 4, 8, 9; James 1:17 / John 1:1; 14:9 / Genesis 1:2; John 4:24; 14:16-20; 2 Peter 1:21)
  • We believe in God the all powerful Father, Creator of all things visible and invisible. (Genesis 1:1; Acts 17:24-28; Hebrews 11:3)
  • We believe in Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, our only Savior, (John 1:14; 1 John 4:9 / John 3:16; 2 Peter 3:18)
  • Who was born Jesus of Nazareth, completely human and completely divine, conceived of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, (Matthew 21:11; John 19:19 / John 1:14; Romans 5:15-17; Colossians 2:9; 1 John 1:1 / Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:26-38)
  • Who suffered and was crucified under the authority of the governor Pilate, (Luke 23:1-46)
  • Who died and was buried, and Who resurrected physically from the dead on the third day, (Luke 23:44-24:8; John 20:24-29; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8)
  • Who ascended to Heaven and now is seated at the right hand of the Father, (Luke 22:69; Acts 1:1-9; Colossians 3:1) and Who will return to the world to judge the living and the dead. (Matthew 24:36-42; John 14:1-3; Acts 1:10-11; 10:39-42; 1 Peter 4:5)
  • We believe in the Holy Spirit, Who is an active and operative part of the triune God, and Who lives in each Christian. (John 16:5-15; Acts 1:7-8; Romans 8:26-27)
  • We believe in the Bible; God’s Holy Word, the Scriptures. We believe that God inspired the original writings of the Scriptures and those writings are without error. (Mark 12:36; John 14:26; 16:23-25; Acts 1:16; 1 Corinthians 2:12-13; 2 Timothy 3:14-16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
  • We accept the Bible as the final authority for all issues of faith and practice. (Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18; 24:35; Romans 15:4; Hebrews 4:12)
  • We believe the Bible teaches that man, created by God, sinned deliberately against God and is lost and without any hope apart from Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23)
  • We believe the Bible teaches that salvation and the forgiveness of sins is reached only by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 26:28; Romans 5:9; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 John 1:7)
  • We believe the Bible teaches that one receives the grace of God in expressing his faith in Christ, repenting of sin, confessing Christ, and being immersed (baptized) into Christ. (Romans 5:1-2 / Luke 24:45-47; Acts 3:19; 17:30; 2 Peter 3:9 / Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9; Phillippians 2:11 / 1 John 4:15 / Acts 2:28; Romans 6:1-7; Galatians 3:27; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21)
  • We believe the church is the body and bride of Christ, founded on the day of Pentecost and includes all Christians everywhere. (Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 2:14-47)
  • We believe the Bible teaches the Elders must exercise the authority over the local congregation. (Acts 20:28; Phillippians 1:1; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-4)

VISION, MISSION, AND STATEMENTS

Our Vision: To be a Christian mission focused on caring for orphans (James 1:27) and encouraging growth in the local church (Acts 2:47).


Our Mission: Niños exists to share the Gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ with as many people as possible by raising at-risk children in Mexico to love God and grow to be mature educated Spirit-filled Christians with the ability and passion to evangelize their culture.


Commentary on the Niños Mission Statement: “…share the Gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ…” Following the commandment of Jesus, Niños is committed to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey all that He has commanded. Evangelizing the lost with the saving grace of Jesus Christ is Niños’ number one priority. —Matthew 28:18-20


“…with as many people as possible…” Niños may be strategically located near Mexico City, Mexico, but alumni and staff also interact with people living elsewhere. The focus is Mexico; the desired influential outcome through the children is ultimately worldwide. —Acts 1:8


“…by raising at-risk children in Mexico…” Since 1967, the core of Niños’ ministry has involved caring for the abandoned, abused, or orphaned children of Mexico. —James 1:27


“…to love God…” Among all the educational and professional aspirations Niños has for each and every one of the children who come to live at the homes, the number one goal is for the children to know God and love Him. —Matthew 22:37-38


“…and grow to be mature educated…” Education for the children is of the utmost importance to Niños. To advance in Mexico and have an influence on society, a quality education is almost essential. Niños hopes the children grow into mature productive citizens. —1 Corinthians 13:11


“…Spirit-filled Christians with the ability and passion to evangelize…” Niños hopes each one of the children accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and in turn has a passion to tell others. Niños strives to teach the children how to be firm in their faith and share their faith with others. —Romans 10:14-15


“…their culture”. Although Niños is located in Mexico and the children are Mexican citizens, many will relocate during their lifetime. The desire is for them to continue to evangelize their culture, no matter where they go. —Isaiah 6:8

Ministry Program Mission Statements:


HOMES MISSION STATEMENT
Niños’ children’s homes exist to provide a safe family environment for the children within Niños’ care to live and to learn about Christ.


MEDICAL CLINIC MISSION STATEMENT

Niños’ medical clinic exists to provide convenient quality medical attention to the children within Niños’ care, people on Niños’ staff, visitors to the homes, and special needs within the local community.


MEDICAL OUTREACH MISSION STATEMENT (CHILAPA)

Niños’ medical outreach exists to provide an experience for Niños’ children to learn how to help those who are less fortunate and who need to know Christ while providing basic medical care to those people.


CHURCH MISSION STATEMENT

The Christian church in San Vicente Chicoloapan exists to meet the spiritual needs of the people that seek communion with God resulting in the transformation of their lives, their obedience to the principles of God’s Word, and their service for the purpose of uplifting the church.


CHURCH PLANTING MISSION STATEMENT

Niños’ church planting ministry exists to grow new churches by training up Niños alumni and other Christian nationals with an ability and passion to evangelize the people of Mexico and to support ministers while they serve in full-time ministry.
