Niños, as part of its ultimate purpose of evangelism, is engaged in planting churches and ministries throughout Mexico.

Currently Niños is supporting two ministers full-time:

1. Luís Escutia is the minister of the Christian church in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. Puebla is a city of over 1.2 million people located southeast of Mexico City. There are no other Christian churches in Puebla at this time. Luís has found that several older alumni of Niños are attending the church again after many years of absence.

Pray for Luís that he would have the words to speak to the people, the wisdom to lead the church until faithful leadership is established, and a continued passion to share the gospel.

2. Jorge Martínez is the minister of the Christian church in Chilapa, Puebla, Mexico. Chilapa is a remote mountain village several hours away from Niños. Niños has been taking medical teams to the village for several years now. A church has been established but there has not been a full-time minister until now. Jorge and his wife Ana Clarita have found the people are beginning to be even more receptive to the gospel since they moved there to live. Over 30 villagers have been baptized into Jesus Christ and services each Sunday are nearing 60 people in regular attendance.

Pray for Jorge that he would have the patience to live in a remote village culture, the wisdom to lead the church until faithful leadership is established, and a continued passion to share the gospel.
