Medical Services

Niños de México operates a medical clinic with a professional doctor on call at all times. The doctor attends the staff and the 60 children in Niños’ care. Many of the children have special needs resulting from their pasts. 90% of Niños’ children were abused in some form before coming to Niños. Occasionally members of the church or community are cared for at the clinic when special circumstances arise.

Niños also operates a mobile medical clinic, led by our Dr. Noé Flores, that takes teams each month to a remote mountain village (Chilapa) several hours away. While some of the team cares for the medical needs of the villagers, other staff members and Niños’ older children teach from the Bible to all who would listen.

The village, once an “unreached” people group, now has a church with a full-time minister supported by Niños. Over 30 villagers have been baptized into Jesus Christ.
