[simage=1193,288,y,left]Niños is engaged in planting churches throughout Mexico.
To date, Niños has planted three churches, currently supports one minister full-time, and has helped grow the largest Christian church in the Mexico City valley.
For years, Niños’ children and staff have been a part of the Iglesia de Cristo (Christian Church) in San Vicente, Chicoloapan, Mexico, Mexico. Through the leadership of Niños and many other faithful servants, the congregation has grown to over 300 members, with three full-time ministers. Recently, the staff and children began attending the new church plant in Texcoco, however important ties with the Christian Church in San Vicente are still in place!
Jorge Martínez is the minister of the Iglesia de Cristo (Christian church) in Chilapa, Puebla, Mexico. Chilapa is a remote mountain village several hours away from Niños. Niños has been taking medical teams to the village for several years now. A church was established but not until 2003 was a full-time minister found to serve in that role. Jorge and his wife, Ana Clarita, have found the people are beginning to be even more receptive to the gospel since they moved there to live. Over 60 villagers have been baptized into Jesus Christ and services each Sunday are nearing 60 people in regular attendance. Bible studies and another church service have begun in the nearby village of La Libertad.
Pray for Jorge that he would have the patience to live in a remote village culture, the wisdom to lead the church until faithful leadership is established, and a continued passion to share the gospel.
Saul Flores graduated from Dallas Christian College in May 2010. He and his wife Abby were married in 2011. They are serving with Niños de Mexico to plant a new church in Texcoco de Mora, Mexico.
Pray for Saul and Abby that they would have the wisdom and energy to lead this new church plant.
