Seth hails from Coffeyville, KS, the town famous for standing up to the Dalton Gang in 1892 and the state with the best college basketball team in the nation, the Kansas University Jayhawks.

At different times during high school and college, Seth worked at a home improvement retailer, movie theater, wire-manufacturer, ice-cream store, refereed little league sports, mowed lawns, ministered to youth in Missouri, participated in several short-term mission trips, and completed two youth internships at growing churches in Kansas and Missouri.

Seth married Dana Stine in 2000.  In 2002, he graduated from Ozark Christian College with a Bachelor of Biblical Literature.  In 2008, he began studying at Lincoln Christian University and plans to graduate with a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership in 2011.  Seth is also fluent in Spanish.

Seth and his wife moved from Coffeyville, KS to Mexico City, MX in 2002.  Prior to his working as field director they served at various times as teachers in Niños’ private Christian school, coordinators of the short-term mission trips, substitute house parents, and publications director.

In July 2005 Seth became the Field Director and Dana began to focus more on being at home with their growing family.  They now have three children:  Jacob, Emily, and Elizabeth.

In July 2007 Seth became the Executive Director and continues to serve in this role.

In April 2009, the Thomas family moved from Mexico City to make their home in Union, MO, where Seth works out of Niños’ U.S. office.  Seth makes regular trips for oversight and encouragement to the ministry in Mexico City.  He also travels throughout the U.S. to preach, teach, and share about what God is doing through the ministry of Niños de Mexico.

He enjoys spending time with his family, working around the house, woodwork, riding his motorcycle, reading, teaching, and sharing with people about Jesus.
