Hello, we are the Wiggins’—Lee and Ruthie. In the Spring of 2009 we retired from full-time public school teaching in the state of Illinois with over 65 combined years of teaching experience. However we were not ready to leave the classroom completely. Our Christian Church in Monmouth, Illinois has supported Niños de Mexico for numerous years so we were marginally knowledgable about this ministry. After communicating with Seth Thomas the decision was made to visit Mexico in the fall of 2009. The end of January 2010 brought us to our apartment on the site of Casa Genesis an we began our personal ministry in the school, with the staff and children here. We travel between Mexico and the states more frequently then other America Staff members in order to maintain contact with our children and grandchildren. We are so very blessed to have two places to call home and two very special families.
