Josué & Emilio Herrera

Josué & Emilio Herrera

We would like to “officially” introduce the Herrera Brothers, Josué and Emilio, from the Esperanza House. Josué and Emilio joined the Niños Family in August of last year, and are fitting in quite well! Like many of our children, they come from broken backgrounds; abuse and neglect were their norm, but through God’s help and the ministry of Niños, they have found a place to call home.

Josué and Emilio enjoy helping their house dad, Santiago, work outside and are doing very well in their studies. They also love to play soccer, eat a lot, and help their house mom, Guadalupe, with the younger children in the home.

As with many of our children at Niños de México, Josué and Emilio are in need of meaningful relationships in their lives. One of the ways we offer our little ones a family-like place to call home while taking care of their many needs is through our HUGS Child Sponsorship Program. Perhaps you or someone you know might like to join with Josué and Emilio in partnering with one or both of them through becoming a sponsor. You can find more information about our HUGS Child Sponsorship Program through this website.

We want to invite you to also pray for these little guys, send them a card or email, and encourage them to keep growing strong both physically and spiritually. Keep them in your thoughts throughout this next year, and if the Lord leads you, pray about joining with the ministry of Niños de México in some way to continue offering hope to children such as these. It is difficult to be joined to a new family, but through prayer and tender love, one by one many children are given hope in Mexico City.
