Dear Friends,
I want to share with you an email from a minister of one of our supporting churches who recently led a Short Term Mission Trip to Niños de Mexico.
Blessings,
Seth
Seth,
I’m sitting at my desk looking at pictures of our April ’09 trip to Niños. This was a unique trip in many ways. It was awesome to be in the mountains with Doc for the medical Clinic, to preach and see four precious people baptized into Christ. This is also the first time I have seen new children come into Niños. Wow, what a difference the first week made in them. In many ways everything has stayed the same, the people, street markets, and such. Yet this was the first time we could get supplies at Home Depot and Wal-Mart right there in San Vicente. I appreciate the opportunity to bring four of our teenage girls to experience missions in a foreign (to them) culture. I know many are influenced by violence at the border and I’m thankful for your concern and caution. I felt just as safe and secure this trip as I have on any in the past. May God bless you and Niños as you continue to serve Him!
