May God bless you this New Year! Here at Niños we continue to RECEIVE new children and teach them about the Lord. Estrella arrived at Casa Agape in December and is fitting in very well with the rest of the children and staff. We plan to receive four more children in the weeks to come. At that point, we will be at maximum capacity for our current facilities, staff, and budget until some of our older students graduate from their university studies.
I want you to know we need your continued help. We want to be able to RECEIVE more children but in order to do so we need to build more facilities and to hire more staff. We have the property to build on but we do not have the money to do the building. We are exploring different options and I look forward to sharing our plans with you over the months to come.
After paying off our office building loan early, Niños de Mexico is currently 100% debt-free. We are having a great start to this New Year. We believe we wisely held off on some extra expenses in 2008. However, we will need your help this year to make it a successful one. We ended 2008 over $20,000 short of projected income.
God has always provided for the ministry of Niños and I believe 2009 will be no different.
